Funeral Mass for Josephine (Josie) V. Apodaca, 90, of Guernsey will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Casper, officiated by Rev. Clark Lenz.
A second Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Guernsey, officiated by Rev. Ray Moss.
Josie received her wings on Saturday, February 3, 2024. Cremation has taken place and burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Bustard & Jacoby, Casper.
Josie was born May, 12, 1933, in Lingle, to Joe and Susie Ramirez. On June 17, 1957, she married Gus Apodaca in Hartville. Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage.
Josie is survived by her son Park of Guernsey, grandchildren; Brandi, Easton, Bryson and Mahlia, great-grandchildren; Alina, Mariya, and Vince, great-great-grandchild; Aulora, three siblings; Isabel Martinez, Cathy Bubnick, and Tom (Bonnie) Ramirez all of Casper, and numerous nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband Gus, son Robin, parents Joe and Susie Ramirez, brothers; Harold, Nick, Harry, Joe, Raymond and Johnny, and sisters; Sally, Lupe and Charlotte.
