HEM and YODER – The Lady Vikings took the win over HEM on Tuesday in four sets: 28-26, 21-25, 25-20, and 25-19. The conference win improves GSHS record to 10-10 and 3-3 for conference play.
Player highlights included: Jordan Atwood with six kills, three aces, and 19 digs; Leni Dimas with eight kills and six blocks; Kierstyn Collar posted eight kills and three aces; LeShea Dimas had three aces, 27 digs, and 11 assists; Layla Noggle earned 17 digs and 13 assists; and Liberty Whitebird had 15 digs.
On Friday the Cyclones proved to be a challenge for the Vikings as they dropped the match in three sets: 7-25, 11-25, and 21-25. The Vikings have improved to 11-10 overall and 3-4 in conference play.
Player highlights were: Leni Dimas with five kills; Alexis Atwood with five blocks; Layla Noggle had 19 digs; and LaShea Dimas earned 13 digs and four assists.
