GUERNSEY – Guernsey-Sunrise Education Association is gearing up for the school board candidate forum, which was scheduled for Monday.
GSEA president, Karen Wambach, is a committee member setting up the candidate forum. She has done a lot of the preparing for this forum where candidates will introduce themselves and answer a series of questions. Each candidate will get one minute to answer a specific question. As the next question is asked, another candidate will begin answering the question.
GSEA has helped with getting all the information about the elections. They collect information about the candidates and get the information out to the community to raise awareness of those running and their stances on different positions. As for the school board candidates, the association wants to know the direction each candidate would like to see our school district go, including goals for accomplishments in the upcoming school year and beyond.
