Dolores was born Oct. 9, 1933 in Dalton, Neb. to Charles and Maye Rockhold. She attended Lingle High School where she graduated in 1951. After high school, she attended Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington, where she graduated with an associate degree in Teaching.

While living and working in Torrington, she met Lawrence M. Lowe with whom she married on Aug. 19, 1955. In 1961, they moved to Guernsey and on April 18, 1961, they welcomed a baby boy, Brian Michael Lowe. While living in Guernsey, Mom worked as a substitute teacher and then her favorite job until retirement in 1989, was as the school secretary for the Guernsey Sunrise School District.

Mom was a long-time member of the Guernsey United Presbyterian Church where she was blessed to have made some of her most beloved friendships. Mom had many things she loved to do with her time; reading her favorite authors such as the most recent Debbie Macomber and C.J. Box, playing pinochle with Brian and Jennifer and doing all she could to be the winner, and going “up to the property” to spend time in the outdoors and enjoy the quiet and reflection of times past there. Some of the other things she enjoyed in her life were card making, rock hunting, watching her westerns, travel, painting and her beloved pets.

Mom leaves behind so many people that will miss her terribly. Son Brian M. Lowe; daughter-in-love Jennifer Lowe; grandson Jeremy M. Lowe; siblings Joyce (Robert) Meyers, and Robert (Gail) Rockhold; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mom is reunited in death by her loving husband Lawrence W. Lowe; her parents Charles and Maye Rockhold; her brother-in-law Robert Meyers; and many family members, friends and beloved pets.
