GUERNSEY – The Vikings varsity football team battled against a strong conference foe in Hanna-Elk Mountain Saturday and prevailed, 58-33.
Once again, the Vikings started strong, gaining a first quarter advantage, 7-0. For the second week in a row, Guernsey went into halftime with the lead, 25-13, but unlike last week’s game where a comeback was needed, the boys put this one away in the third quarter with two more touchdowns.
Although H-EM put some late scores on the board, the Vikings kept pace in the fourth quarter and finished strong.
The Vikings will travel to Hulett for a 1 p.m. game Saturday.
