GLENDO – The Guernsey-Sunrise girls basketball team came our victorious after a home conference game against Glendo by a score of 35-17 on Feb. 11.
Mickayla VanNatter led Viking scorers with 8 points. Megan Romero and Macoyia Stoneking each scored 7 points in the winning effort for the Vikings.
Other Viking scorers included Bella Milton with 5 points, and Paige Andrews and Macy Mote each accounted for 4 points.
The girls lost a home non-conference game against Niobrara County by a score of 50-7 on Feb. 10.
Viking scorers included Macy Mote with 3 points and Paige Andrews and Alanae Oliver with 2 points each.
The team also lost Friday’s away non-conference game against Sioux County (Neb.) by a score of 48-6.
Andrews and Mote each scored 3 points in the contest. Stoneking accounted for one assist.
The results of the games bring the Vikings record to 2-4 in conference and 2-15 overall.
Guernsey-Sunrise will play an away conference game against Glendo today then conclude the season with a home game against HEM on Friday and an away game to face Rock River on Saturday.
