HARTVILLE—The Friends of Hartville’s 2019 Valentine U.S. Postal cancellation stamp will be available beginning Thursday, February 7 and continuing through Thursday, February 21 at the Hartville Post Office.
Hartville is one of nearly 40 U. S. Post Offices with the official designation for the Valentine’s Day cancellation. Places such as Valentine, NE; Loveland, CO; Heart Butte, MT; and all the others--each bear a special design that is new each year and for those who want to have the special cancellation on their Valentine mail and cards, all they need to do is bring their items to one of the sites or they may also send their items (ready to mail including address and required postage) in one larger envelope to that location and the post office will apply the special cancellation and send your mail on to the addressees as if you had mailed it from your local post office.
