WHEATLAND--Members of the Guernsey Go-Getters 4-H Club picked up a number of awards during the Platte County 4-H Achievement Night held Saturday, November 4 in Wheatland.
Awards were presented in a variety of categories and recognition was also given to outstanding leaders.
The evening is held annually to recognize the efforts and achievements made and earned throughout the year.
This year, the Go-Gtters had four first-year members recognized, including Ned Nelson, Joey Noganash, Emma Stoneking and Katelynn Thompson.
Dustin Leach received his 10-year 4-H membership award.
The Fannie Collard Memorial Award Recipient was Libby Logan.
Darla Knowlton was recognized for her first year of leadership and Billie Jo Stoneking earned the honor of Outstanding 4-H Leader Award.

In addition to the projects the members worked on for the county fair competition and the club, the group has also taken on a special project of making knot-tied blankets which they will be donating to the Guernsey Emergency Medical Services in the near future.
Fourteen club members along with 11 friends and family members spent two and a half hours at the First Interstate Bank conference room on Sunday, November 5th to work on 22 blankets they will be donating.
