GLENDO - Students are encouraged to “save the date” for the Wheatland Kiwanis Club’s 43rd annual Stars of Tomorrow that return live and onstage Saturday, March 26, 2022, according to Julie Minear, Chair. “We are thrilled that the annual performing arts competition will be live again,” said Julie, adding “and we are looking forward to hosting the show at the Glendo High School this year.”
Auditions for the event will be held in Glendo the same day, beginning at 10:00 p.m., with the show starting at 2:00 p.m. Students from every school in Platte County are encouraged to participate. Applications will be available at individual schools after the first of the year and must be turned in no later than March 14th.
Stars of Tomorrow is a long-standing project of the international Kiwanis program that is designed to showcase student talent. “We’re thrilled that our club has been offering this program for more than forty years,” said Minear. “It’s a true testament to not the Wheatland Kiwanis Club, but also to all the students, teachers and parents. We appreciate the community support.”
