Request for Bids
Notice is hereby given that Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) will now receive sealed bids from general contractors for labor and materials to replace the Fine Arts Center boiler, according to specifications and drawings provided. The work shall be completed by October 31, 2017.
Instructions and specifications may be obtained without fee or deposit by contacting West Plains Engineering at (307) 234-9484 or area plan centers. Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. local area time, Tuesday, May 23, 2017, in the EWC Business Office, located in the Tebbet Classroom Building, Room T236. Bids will be opened and recorded at 2:05 PM that same day in Tebbet Classroom Building, Room T274 (Dolores Kaufman Board Room). A site inspection meeting concerning this project may be arranged prior to the bidding deadline by contacting Mr. Keith Jarvis, EWC Director of Physical Plant, at (307) 532-8255.
Per Wyoming Statutes 16-6-102 and 16-6-106, preference is hereby given to certified resident contractors and "materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.” EWC reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or informalities in the bidding process, and are not bound by the lowest bid, but the bid determined to be in the best interest of the college. Submission of a bid constitutes agreement to these terms. A contract will be awarded after the bids have been reviewed by the EWC Board of Trustees.
