October 17, 2017 Town of Guernsey Special Meeting Platte County, Wyoming
Present: Mayor Delgado, CM Whitworth, CM Harris Absent: CM Martinez Excused: CM Kelley

Mayor Delgado called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. The assembly joined in the Pledge of Allegiance and was welcomed to the meeting. Agenda: CM Harris moved to approve the agenda, seconded by CM Whitworth. Vote taken and motion carried with 3 ayes. Monthly Council Meetings: CM Whitworth moved to go back to two meetings per month, seconded by CM Harris. Vote taken and motion carried with 3 ayes.
Ordinance 2017-008 - Liquor Law –2nd Reading: CM Whitworth moved to approve Ordinance 2017-008 on second reading, seconded by CM Harris. Vote taken and motion carried with 3 ayes. Ordinance follows in title only: AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF REPEALING AND REPLACING TITLE 2 CHAPTER 2-1 ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OF THE TOWN OF GUERNSEY, WYOMING. Executive Session – Personnel: CM Harris moved to go into executive session, seconded by CM Whitworth. Vote taken and motion carried with 3 ayes. The Council came out of executive session with a motion by CM Whitworth to have the Council notified on purchases over $15,000 before the purchase can be made, unless it’s an emergency, then the clerk/treasurer and mayor will call all Council members to have the purchased approved, seconded by CM Harris. Vote taken and motion carried with 3 ayes. Adjournment: With no further business to come before the Council, Mayor Delgado called for a motion to adjourn. CM Whitworth moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:18 pm, seconded by CM Harris. Vote taken and motion carried with 3 ayes.
