Guernsey-Sunrise senior finishes season with honor

GUERNSEY - Justin Malcom joined 17 other seniors from the state of Wyoming and 16 seniors from the State of Nebraska for a once of a lifetime opportunity on June 4 as the two teams competed in the Battle of the Border 6-Man All Star Game. The Wyoming boys met up at Chadron State College on June 2 to begin practices. The next few days would include two three hour practices a day as well as some fun activities including a night of bowling.

WHEATLAND – The boys of summer had back-to-back exhausting weeks. Fresh off their championship status in the Spearfish tourney in South Dakota, they came back to Wyoming to a “do-over” game with the Douglas Cats, the same team they had defeated in the championship game June 6.

Lobos take command against Rangers, shine in Scotts Bluff Tourney

WHEATLAND – Jumping out to a commanding lead with four runs in the first inning, the 19U Lobos held on and defeated the AA Laramie Rangers in a 9-inning game May 26 at Lewis field.
