WY Business Council supports spur funding

Posted

GUERNSEY—The Wyoming Business Council has recommended full funding in the amount of $717,792 for an improvement to extend 280 feet of single-rail across Buffalo Road in the Guernsey Industrial Park. The expanded rail will allow the privately owned transportation and logistics company John Bunning Transfer Co. to grow ad create eight to 10 new jobs. The expansion will also better position the town to attract other related businesses to the industrial park.
Based on the council’s recommendations, final approval by the State Loan and Investment Board (SLIB) is expected to be given at their January 17th meeting in Cheyenne.
