GUERNSEY—With regionals set for this coming weekend, the Viking track team competed in their final regular season meet at the Wiseman Invitational, held at the Burns High School track Friday.
The best individual performances were turned in by Katrina Christensen who placed third in the Discus with a mark of 73-0, her personal best; and Shaylee Niles, who also staked a third place finish in the Long Jump with a mark of 11-06, a season record for her.
Misty Morales had a pair of fourth place finishes as she clocked a 1:29.59 in the 400 Meter Dash and landed a 11-05 mark in the Long Jump.
Justin Malcom also picked up fourth place as he hit 37-05.25 in the Triple Jump.
Fifth place points went to Whitney Martin in the 200 Meter Dash (29.01), Alanae Oliver in the Long Jump (8-08), Austin Albrecht in the 200 Meter Dash (25.14) and the Girls’ 4x100 Meter Relay team (57.76).
Sixth place finishes went to Austin Albrecht in the 100 Meter Dash (12.34), Brandon Miler in the (3200 Meter Run (11.53.26), Brock Hohnholt in the High Jump (5-04), Jordan Sasso in the Triple Jump (29-07) and the 4x100 Meter Relay team of Brock Hohnholt, Justin Malcom, Justin Martinez and Austin Albrecht (49.38).

The Vikings will head to Sheridan for the Class 1-A East Regional meet Friday and Saturday. Implement weigh-ins will begin at 8 a.m. and events begin at 9 a.m. both days.
