A VFW certificate of recognition for citizenship education was presented to the United States Air Force 90th Ground Combat Training Squadron. Receiving the award is the First Sergeant of the squadron, Master Sergeant Delbert Butcher. The award is presented by the VFW Department of Wyoming Citizenship Education chairman, Don Mack. The award was presented to recognize the significant contribution of the 90th ground combat training squadron to the efforts of the VFW in its Patriot’s Pen, Voice of Democracy, and Smart/Maher Citizenship Education Teacher Award contests. The 90th ground combat training squadron cadre have served as judging teams for these VFW contests for many years and have provided significant support to the VFW.
