Turf Master holds ribbon-cutting amid other activities

Maddox Witt tackles the rings on the Ninja Warrior course and he made it across

WHEATLAND – Yet another celebration was held in lieu of the cancelled Oktoberfest this past Saturday.
Turf Master Sod Farm located at 324 Ayers Road in Wheatland contacted Platte County Chamber president Jeremy Haroldson when the Oktoberfest was cancelled and said, “we have a really big yard.” So last Saturday it was filled up with Impact’s Ninja Warrior course, vendors, blow-up bouncy activities and the Library hosted a Book and a Bite event with free food and books for all ages. Free pumpkins were also on site.
The Ridnour Family first got involved with the Turf Master business in 1986. They wanted to have a ribbon cutting to let the community know where they are located and to be more involved.
“Thank you for believing in this community,” said Haroldson. “You don’t just support your family but the whole community.”
