Treat Street one of many Halloween events

Posted

GUERNSEY—The annual Guernsey Economic Development Treat Street and Trunk or Treat will be held throughout the business community of Guernsey next Tuesday, October 31 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Businesses along Whalen (Highway 26) and the downtown area will welcome trick or treaters--
watch for window signs for participating business locations.

Trunk or Treat will be held along East Sunrise St. directly south of the Guernsey Visitor’s Center and Gordon Davis Park. This is open to anyone who would like to bring a vehicle (decorated is great!) and park along East Sunrise to hand out treats. Need an idea for your vehicle? There are plenty on the internet!
Guernsey Economic Development will also be sponsoring the annual costume contest for business owners who dress up for the event. The traveling trophy will again be awarded to the little people’s favorite business. Get into the spirit of the day and make this a special community event.
If you have questions about Treat Street, Trunk or Treat and the Business Costume Contest, please call Economic Development Coordinator Sarah Cowan at 836-2689 (office) or 575-6240 (cell).
