CAMP GUERNSEY JOINT TRAINING CENTER, Wyo. - Traffic on Emigrant Hill Road in the vicinity of Camp Guernsey’s North Training Area will be delayed occasionally May 16 and May 17, during an artillery rocket fire training exercise.
All artillery rounds are aimed at a designated impact area, but may pose overhead fire safety hazards.
Traffic will only be delayed when units are actively firing. The exercises are planned for morning to mid-day on May 16 and overnight on May 17.
A helicopter training exercise, May 14-26 will likely add some noise overhead in the North Training Area, but should have little effect in town.
