RIGHT: Sally Mack, Barb Frederick, Kathy and Ed Troupe, Kathy Wright, Dave Lycan, McKensie Romero, Megan Romero, Jeff and Jerri Martinez, Rodney and Rhonda Smith, Denise Quick and Pat and Cheryl Quick were helpers to put up all the avenue of flags prior to Monday’s Memorial Day Ceremony in Guernsey. The American Legion Aux. No. 95 is responsible for the Avenue of Flags. This group of people were out there at the cemetery at 6 a.m. to hang them.
BELOW: On one of the few services conducted here in America due to the coronavirus, the VFW held services in both Hartville and in Guernsey. A beautiful morning to honor those who have paid so much for our freedom. In the Hartville cemetery, flags in honor of the dead fly to signify their homeland.
