WHEATLAND – Off the buffalo, through the metal coil, into the teepee and around the windmill. Hundreds of people enjoyed a day of free mini golf at Wheatland Miniature Golf Saturday,.
Platte Valley State Bank sponsored a round of golf on them to show appreciation for their customers and for the community.
“This is our customer appreciation day, and we used to have a barbecue,” Justin Murphy, chief operating officer for Platte Valley Bank who was at the course said. “Because of our COVID restrictions regarding food, we decided to try to promote our local park and miniature golf and we wanted to have a fun day for the community. It’s been steady all day.”
Murphy said that he thought the community was appreciative of the chance to get out and have fun and that was the mission.
