GUERNSEY—Dog and cat owners who need to get pets vaccinated can catch a break on those costs and not even have to leave town to do so, thanks to Laramie Peak Veterinary Clinic and The Town of Guernsey.

On Saturday, February 10, dog and cat owners can bring their furry friends to Guernsey City Hall for vaccinations against rabies, distemper, parvo virus, feline leukemia and canine Bordetella, administered by a licensed veterinarian at a reduced cost.

Pet owners who live within the Guernsey city limits may also purchase the required licenses for dogs and cats.

The clinic will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and the following fee schedule will apply:

RABIES

  Cat - $10

  Dog - $10

DISTEMPER/PARVO VIRUS

   Cat - $15

   Dog - $18

FELINE LEUKEMIA - $15

CANINE BORDETELLA - $15

Dog and cat licenses as required by the Guernsey City Ordinances will be for sale. Tags for spayed or neutered cats and dogs are $5; tags for intact cats and dogs will be $10.

No appointment is necessary to participate.  Pets should be on a leash and accompanied by an adult.
