Funeral services for Pearl L. Offe, 78, were held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Guernsey Presbyterian Church with Reverend Ked Schroyer officiating. Burial followed in the Prairie Rest Cemetery in Guernsey.
Pearl died May 28, 2017 at the Platte County Legacy Home. Pearl was born September 2, 1938 in Guernsey, Wyoming, the daughter of Walter and Helen (Nelson) Elmore. She grew up and received her education in Sunrise, Wyoming graduating high school there.
She married Donald Offe on October 21, 1956 in Guernsey. They started a family and then in 1966 she went to Black Hills State College where she graduated in 1970 with a degree in education. They lived in various places in Colorado and Wyoming, returning to Guernsey. She served as a minister’s wife for seventeen years.
Pearl enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Pearl is survived by her husband Don of Guernsey, Wyoming; sons Ronald (Joanne) Offe of Hartville, Wyoming and Troy (Jennifer) Offe of Denver, Colorado; daughter Connie (Richard) Mead-Pfeifer of Grain Valley, MO; brothers Walter Elmore Jr and Marvin Elmore of Guernsey, Bob Elmore of Hackberry, AZ, Jim Elmore of Cheyenne, WY and Mike Elmore or Carlsbad, NM; sisters Carla Lattimer of Tooele, UT and Kathryn Gutierrez of Oklahoma City, OK; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Lonnie and Ray.
Memorials may be given to the Platte County Legacy Home.
