Michael Lee Pedersen passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas, WY where he was a resident at the Douglas Care Center. He resided in Guernsey, WY before his stay in Douglas.
Michael was born August 28, 1944 in Los Angeles, CA to Roland Christian Pedersen and Leona Valerie (Brewster) Pedersen.
He spent his early years between Nebraska and Santa Monica, CA, living at Nebraska’s Boys Town for a period of time. In April, 1964, he married Rebecca Faith Bauserman. Mike and Becky lived in many places. They had no children and later divorced.
During his lifetime, Michael worked as a bail bondsman and furniture salesman, among other professions.
Michael served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He enjoyed golfing, cars and motorcycle riding as well as watching movies, reading and traveling. His adventures included Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras and St. Croix.
Michael is survived by his sister Marilyn Buhr of Guernsey; brother Mickey R. Pedersen of Denver, CO; half-sister Marsha M. (Coryell) Matfield and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Madeline K. Smith-Barela.
