The council voted to appoint Kellie Augustyn to fill the council seat vacated by the election of councilman Ed Delgado to the mayor’s seat last fall.
The council also scheduled two workshops. On Tuesday, Jan. 31, from 6-7 p.m., they will be discussing the proposed rail spur lease and on Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 6-7 p.m., they will be discussing possible changes in the administration of law enforcement and the Guernsey Police Department.
