GUERNSEY—Wyoming Newspapers Inc. has announced the promotion of Rob Mortimore to the position of publisher for a group of weekly and bi-weekly newspapers covering eastern Wyoming and western Nebraska.
Mortimore, 37, began his newspaper career at the Torrington Telegram in 2001, where he worked as a sports reporter and sports editor. In 2011, he was named general manager of the Telegram, Lingle Guide and Lusk Herald.
After just two and a half years as general manager, Mortimore was named publisher of the Telegram, Guide and Herald in July, 2014. Less than a year later, he inherited The Business Farmer, a publication out of Scottsbluff, NE.
