GUERNSEY--The Guernsey Public Library is looking for some help from residents who may be able to help identify information and people in photos and articles that have been found in the archives at the library. Librarian Becky Bolinger has found a substantial amount of information and photos concerning the very early days of Guernsey and is using much of it to decorate the walls of the library so that residents have a chance to see the history of the community. She has framed a number of old advertisements and photos she came across after taking the librarian's job this summer.
If you'd like to help, please come to the library this Saturday, October 26 from 1-3 p.m. and help put stories to the photos. You may also bring history items to share.
