Lady Vikes top Midwest to claim first win of year

LINGLE—The Lady Vikings got their first win of the season by a 47-24 margin over Midwest in their final game of the Lingle tournament last Saturday.
On Friday, the Vikes opened with a tough St. Stephens Lady Eagles team. St. Stephens took a commanding win over Guernsey-Sunrise, 57-36.

On Friday evening, the Vikes played much better and although they didn’t get the win, they forced fEncampment to earn the 38-31 victory.
Complete stats for the tournament games were not available at press time.
This week, the Lady Vikes will host the Lady Tigers from Lusk. The junior varsity will play at 4 p.m. and the varsity girls will follow at 5:30 p.m.
The games with Lusk are the final games of 2018 and they will resume their schedule on January 4th in Morrill.
