FARSON--Injuries to key players in the Viking lineup had a big impact in the Vikings' chances to stay with a talented Farson-Eden team in the first-round playoff game last Friday afternoon.
The Vikes were without the services of Garret Oneyear and Gage Koeteman, two of the Vikings' strongest contributors on both offense and defense. Oneyear suffered a twisted ankle and was on crutches and Koeteman was sidelined due to a concussion he received in the game against Hulett last weekend. Farson-Eden ran away with the win Friday afternoon, outscoring the Vikes 72-24.
