Fourth of July is coming up sooner that we think and plans are in the works to celebrate a Stellar Fourth of July this year. Events and activities are scheduled throughout the weekend and into Monday and Tuesday this year.
These events can only happen with volunteers to help put them on so this is a flat put call for volunteers to help with the events of the Fourth of July.
There will be a planning meeting this Thursday, June 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Guernsey Town Hall. The events of the Fourth of July will be discussed, set and volunteers will be assigned to the events to make it all happen.
Guernsey’s reputation as the place to be on the Fourth has returned so plan to keep it going in your community by being a volunteer at Guernsey’s biggest event of the summer. Your community is counting on you. Pitch in as a member of our community to help Celebrate Summer...Guernsey Style!
The Summer Concert Series begins next week on Thursday, June 8th with the first concert by Davis and Mavrick, Enjoy 90 minutes of great music--the concert begins at 7 p.m. Davis and Mavrick make a return to the Guernsey bandshell this summer after a great initial appearance here last summer. They have a great blend of voices and guitars to provide a great summer evening in the park. Bring a chair and plan on a great time--Celebrating Summer...Guernsey Style!
