SCOTTSBLUFF--Guernsey-Sunrise junior sprinter Elana Heer finished sixth in the Girls’ 400 Meter Dash at the invitation-only track classic held at Bearcat Stadium in Scottsbluff last Tuesday.
Heer ran a 1:04.97 to claim the sixth spot in the field of area elite runners. First place went to Yara Garcia of Scottsbluff who clocked a 59.44.
Heer also competed in the 200 Meter Dash but did not place.
Heer will compete in the 200 Meter Dash this Tuesday in the Wyoming Track Classic in Casper. Also an invitation-only meet, the events were moved to May 2nd due to a weather-related postponement.
