GUERNSEY – After having to take a mandatory year off for the COVID pandemic, the Guernsey Vacation Bible School is once again setting up the revival tents at Pool Park June 25-27.

United Presbyterian Church of Guernsey and Faith Fellowship are once again joining together to offer Vacation Bible School (VBS) to any and all children, ages preschool-fifth grade (this last school year) in the Guernsey/ Hartville/Fort Laramie communities and surrounding areas.

This year the theme is "Anchored." The schedule will be a little different this year, than previous years. On Friday, June 25, it will be from 12-2at the Pool Park, on Saturday, June 26, it'll be from 12-2 at the Pool Park, followed by a swim party for the children and their families from 2-4.

On Sunday morning the 27th there will be a joint service in the bandshell at Gordon Davis Park at 10. During this service the children will perform some of the songs they've learned. This will also be a carry in lunch.

“We encourage families to join in this service and take pride in their children's excitement,” said VBS coordinator Lori Copsey Morales. “This is a non-denominational program offered to any and every child age preschool through fifth grade this past school year. They will learn Bible messages through music, games, snacks and class instruction. Our churches are very blessed with excellent leaders, and are extremely honored to work with each other’s congregation annually to offer VBS.”

There is no need for early registration, just come to the Pool Park Friday, June 25, at 12, and be ready for some fun and learning about God's love.
