PINE BLUFFS – Guernsey-Sunrise track teams attended two very highly competitive meets this weekend in preparation going into the regional tournament in Newcastle.
“We had most of our team on this Prom weekend and the young Vikings fought hard against the much larger programs in the state,” head track coach Doug Horton said. “It will be an exciting weekend in Newcastle. The East side of the state is loaded this year. Lingle, Southeast and Upton could very well finish 1, 2 and 3 in Casper this year. We will need to fight hard to qualify in the top 8 of each event., however most of the team is right there, so it will be super exciting and competitive.”
