GUERNSEY--Guernsey-Sunrise High School handed out diplomas to 14 members that made up the Class of 2018 on Sunday afternoon in front of family, friends and school staff.
Members of the class include: Whitney Barnes, Brady Cook, Brookelynne Cook, Madison Evans, Dalton Foos, Shae Ibarra, Gage Koeteman, Roy Mote, Garret Oneyear, Lakin Reichert, Brenden Roth, Tate Stoneking, Jayson Tretter and Maribelle Trujillo.
Three graduates were distinguished with Honors and High Honors. They include Tate Stoneking (High Honors) and Madison Evans and Roy Mote (Honors).
The Guernsey-Sunrise Band and Choirs provided the musical selections for the ceremony.
Industrial Tech Instructor Troy Reichert was the featured speaker along with the Honors graduates.
The class flower was a yellow rose; class motto was “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.” The class song was “How Far We’ve Come.”
