Built in the same area to offer a campus approach to troops coming for training, the site includes a 72,999 square foot education building, a 26,000 square foot billeting structure and a 12,000 square foot dining facility. The education building will include classrooms, an auditorium and visitor’s center. Billeting will house 110 soldiers in 55 rooms and the dining area will be able to seat 340 soldiers at any given time. Federal funding will cover the cost of the $34M project, scheduled to be completed later this year.
