Discovery Day teams hold fifth-annual event to educate and thrill over 600 visitors
The Wheatland Rural Electric Association (REA) had a high-wire truck available for visitors to investigate and in this case, stand in the bucket. Due to liability the kids were not able to be elevated, but they got to try on the heavy gloves, helmets and learned about the rigors of the rigs that are used by field workers in the REA.
