GUERNSEY – Danny Joy Hofer, 62, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021, at his home in Guernsey after a short illness with Disco and Edie Harris, Travis Montgomery, Lee Hofer and his wife, Cis Hofer by his side.
Danny was born on Wednesday, August 20, 1958, in Minnewaukan, North Dakota, the son of Bill and Marlene (Kuch) Hofer.
He graduated from high school at Mandan, North Dakota in 1976 and went to work for the BNSF Railroad and worked for them until he retired in 2019.
Some of his hobbies included gardening, Hub City, and fishing.
He married Cis Hofer on April 1, 2000, and they were married for 21 years.
He is survived by his wife, Cis Hofer of Guernsey; mother, Marlene (Red) Ensminger; siblings, Mickie Berger, Nancy (Pete) Finck, and Wade Hofer all of Mandan; his beloved puppies, Lucy and Rocky; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Hofer and grandparents.
